ANA ARENAS - Flamenco dance

A few years ago, Flamenco dancer Ana Arenas began to expand her creative work through collaborations with leading free improvisers, bringing her profound roots in the Flamenco tradition into a dialogue with freely improvised music to produce striking and often moving work that reflects some of the most interesting aspects of both. She has presented her duo with Wade Matthews at festivals in Seville and Almeria, and their work continues to evolve, notably following a recent one-month artists' residency in Granada.
